Alcohol Policy

It might seem contradictory having an alcohol policy at the Beer Festival it is, however, far from the case.

We wish for our guests to enjoy their visit completely and that experiencing the world of beer will be a good and educational one. This is why visibly drunk persons will not be allowed inside the festival and why we reserve the right to say ‘goodbye’ if some of the guests become a nuisance to other guests or exhibitors.

Café

It will be possible to buy hot dishes, sandwiches and delicious grilled sausages, etc., just as you can also buy soda and coffee.

Cloakroom

The cloakroom is manned during opening hours. Use the cloakroom at the cost of 1 token.

Please note that our insurance will only cover coats and jackets but not articles of value left in pockets or the like.

The clockroom is secured by video surveillance.

First Aid Personnel

The security team is trained in First Aid and will be present during opening hours.

Smoking Regulations

You are not allowed to smoke on the Beer Festival’s indoor premises – this includes e-cigarettes! – but in the garden of LOKOMOTIVVÆRKSTEDET we will have smoking areas.

Tokens

The “currency” at the beer festival is “tokens”. Additional tokens for samples at DKK 10 are available at the festival.

Tickets in advance are available including tokens at a price:

DKK 325,00: Admission, tasting glass, festivalguide and 10 tokens

Samples

In order to get a sample you have to give 1 token for the chosen beer.

A sample is 10 cl.

For especially chosen few and rare beers the sample will, however, only be 5 cl.

See also “Tokens”.

Parking

Next to LOKOMOTIVVÆRKSTEDET there is a large car park. It is open to the public on payment. Parking slots are installed at the car park.

We highly reccomend that you do not bring your car to the Beer Festival, as a visit very easily will result in a situation where you are not allowed to drive when you want to leave the Beer Festival.

If you plan to leave the car to the next day. Please note that the car park has no surveillance and parking is on your own responsibility.
