Despite being Hungarian-Slovak, Maurycy Beniowski considered himself Polish. Exiled from his adopted homeland, Maurycy Beniowski found himself incarcerated in Siberia. He did what any good pirate would do…stole a ship and sailed away to freedom. Beniowski went ashore on an island near the Southern coast of Africa, and was proclaimed the King of Madagascar in 1776. Our Baltic Porter “Beniowski” borrows its name from this audacious pirate king.
Baltisk Porter: Undergæret porter, udviklet som Østersølandenes version af den engelske imperial stout.
