There are many places in the world that are a destination for beer lovers, and one of these is without any doubt Prague. Famous for its crispy Pilsners and absinthe bars, it hides black gems in the form of small glasses of roasty deliciousness that pairs marvelously with the traditional pork shank.

Mørkeræd is our interpretation of the style: a crisp lager that pours almost pitch black and carries with it a delicate roastiness, with subtle notes of burned bread crust and coffee. A very light hoppiness rounds the malts and freshens up the whole experience. This is not a Stout or a Porter, the roast knows how to stay in its place and not become overwhelming, it drinks extremely easily also thanks to the low alcohol content and it ends up being a very refreshing beer.

Don’t be afraid of the dark, have fun experimenting with different food pairings, drink it in the autumn sun, you’ll be surprised at how versatile this brew can be!
