Ugly Duck – Lepus Barrelaged Saison

Lepus is a brett´d saison matured for 8 months in red wine barrels. This long slumber on oak refines the fruity, spicy and earthy yeast notes and gives the beer a soft light and refreshing acidity. This highly carbonated and straw coloured beer is almost like a white wine with its oak signature and dry finish. With a high attenuation and zesty tartness this beer accompanies food brilliantly, but it also works well as a thirst quencher after a long day in the field like back in the day.
