VRIDSLØSE IPA

Meet the latest addition to our stripy animals series: The Psychedelic Badger! Another brew to join our “Vridsløse” series and be always (or as often as possible) available in cans, kegs, but most importantly on tap in our bar in @porten_vridsloese.

This is a crisp, hop-forward Session IPA brewed with a killer combo of Columbus, Centennial, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops. We’ve crafted this one to be light on ABV but big on flavour, so you can enjoy all the juicy hop goodness without getting too bogged down.

Here’s the hop breakdown:

🌿 Columbus – Known for its bold, earthy bitterness with a touch of pine, this hop delivers the bulk of the bitterness and a touch of dankness.

🌿 Centennial – Often referred to as a “super Cascade” because of its supposed bright citrus punch, it finds its way in this beer because of the dankness and boldness that it can deliver if used in the right way.

🌿 Simcoe – This one’s a fan favourite for a reason. Expect tropical notes of pineapple, apricot, a touch of earthiness and a piney bitterness to round it out. It’s like sunshine in a glass.

🌿 Amarillo – This hop adds layers of orange zest, grapefruit and even a bit of floral and tropical fruit notes. It ties everything together with a clean, balanced finish.

This all culminates in a low-ABV, highly drinkable IPA that bursts with citrus and tropical fruit character, while maintaining a balanced bitterness and crisp finish. Perfect for those sessions where you want to enjoy the vibrant hop profile of an IPA but keep it light and refreshing.
